ROAD TO QATAR 2022: Daka Jets In
England based Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka became the latest arrival into the Chipolopolo camp in Douala ahead of tomorrow’s Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Equatorial Guinea.
Daka joined the team in Douala on Tuesday night and brings the number of foreign based players to four.
Other foreign based players will head straight into Malabo where they link up with the squad.
Fourteen local players set up base in Douala and have been joined by Morocco based Clatous Chama (RS Berkane), Rally Bwalya (Simba SC-Tanzania) and Evans Kangwa (Arsenal Tula-Russia).
Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder who is the Chipolopolo skipper has been ruled out of both matches due to injury.
Zambia tomorrow (Thursday) is away to Equatorial Guinea before hosting the Nzalang Nacional on Sunday at National Heroes Stadium in Group B world cup qualifiers.
The match will kick-off at 18:00 hours CAT and will be live on ZNBC.
