The Chipolopolo boys got down to work in Douala and had a training session at the Stade Mbappe Leppe in Cameroon.

Coach Beston Chambeshi and Technical Advisor Aljosa Asanovic are overseeing the preparations for the back-to-back Group B ties against the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea.

Fourteen local players have travelled to Cameroon with foreign based players expected to join camp after featuring for their clubs in this weekend’s matches.

Cameroon has been selected as the launchpad for the Equatorial Guinea October 7 due to its proximity to Malabo which is a 40-minute flight away.

Zambia will face third placed Equatorial Guinea on October 7 before hosting the West Africans three days later at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

Chambeshi has summoned 11 foreign based players for the double header assignment and 14 local arsenals.
