Scotland – Scottish Premiership
Rangers striker Fashion Sakala scored his first league goal for Steven Gerrard’s side in the 1-1 draw with Motherwell at Ibrox. He paved way for Juninho Bacuna in the 76th minute.
England – Premier League
Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Enock Mwepu came on for Solly March in the 62nd in the 2-1 win over Patson Daka’s Leicester City at the American Express Community Stadium. Daka made the substitutions bench and was unused.
Russia – Premier League
Striker Evans Kangwa provided an assist for Goran Causic’s first of two goals in Arsenal Tula’s 3-2 win over FK Nizhny Novgorod in the week eight fixture. Kangwa’s country and team mate, Klings Kangwa, was an unused substitute.
Sweden – Allsvenskan
Edward Chilufya played the entirety of the match against Malmö FF in Round 19 of the Allsvenskan. Teammate Emmanuel Banda played the remaining 26 minutes after replacing Hampus Finndell in the 1-1 draw.
Denmark – First Division
Midfielder Lubambo Musonda was on the winning end as AC Horsens cruised 3-0 past Hobro IK in the week nine affair. Musonda was rested for Tonny Brochmann in the 61st minute. Horsens are fifth with 16 points from nine matches played.
South Africa – DStv Premiership
Birthday boy Gamphani Lungu was an unused substitute in Supersport United’s comfortable 3-0 win over Mwape Musonda’s Moroka Swallows. Musonda came on in the 65th minute after replacing Ruzaigh Gamildien.
Goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata’s debut for Sekhukhune United ended in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Baroka FC.
Midfielder Nathan Sinkala played 90 minutes and was on the winning end in Stellenbosch’s 3-0 victory over Cape Town City.
Morocco – Botola Pro Inwi
RS Berkane midfielder Clatous Chota Chama featured for 74 minutes before being replaced by Bakr El Helali in the 1-1 draw with Olympic Safi. This was Berkane’s second successive draw in the 2021/22 season.
Simba Sports Club lost 1-0 to TP Mazembe in an international friendly played at the Benjamin William Mkapa stadium. Larry Bwalya featured for the lions. Tandi Mwape started while Rainford Kalaba was brought in the second half for the Ravens.
Tanzania – CAF Confederation Cup
Former Red Arrows midfielder Paul Katema and Zanaco striker Rodger Kola helped Azam FC to progress to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup 4-1 on aggregate at the expense of Horseed FC of Somalia.
