Kabwe Warriors this afternoon (Sunday) completes the circle for Zambian teams competing the CAF Confederation Cup when they host CFFA of Madagascar in the return leg of the preliminary round of the continental championship.
The railmen who host the Madagascans at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium recorded a barren draw away and will be looking to make the most of the home ground advantage to leap to the next round.
Coach Manfred Chabinga is confident that his charges will be able to fire past the pacey Malagasies who have been bubbling with confidence.
Chabinga who is being assisted by former Chipolopolo star Ian Bakala has enough armoury to be confident of beaten the Malagasies.
I am expecting a good encounter, we are ready and have corrected the mistakes made in Madagascar. psychologically and physically, the boys are ready,” Chabinga told a pre-match briefing.
The railmen boast of international experience in their ranks with emerging defence pillar Dominic Chanda, Prince Mumba, Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba, Jimmy Ndhlovu and Twiza Chaibela among others.
Warriors will be relishing the opportunity of joining Red Arrows and Zanaco have already sailed to the next round in the Confederation Cup and Champions League respectively.
