We Will Give Fans a Smile-Chambeshi
Chipolopolo coach Beston Chambeshi says his team is working hard to bring smiles to the Zambian people ahead of back-to-back matches in the race to the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking to the FAZ Media Team in Marrakech, Chambeshi expressed delight at the top-grade facilities accorded to the team in Morocco.
He said his charges were looking forward to the game against Mauritania.
“We are happy with the way the boys have settled and we are looking forward to the game in Mauritania which is good for us,” Chambeshi said.
“I am happy with the training facilities here; we have been received very well which is good. We are working on many aspects of the game.”
He said that the team was working very hard to ensure that they represented the nation with honour and pride.
“Fans have to believe in this team and for sure we are working very hard to make sure we give them a smile. All we need to do is focus here,” he said.
He also revealed that foreign based players would be expected after they feature for their respective teams this weekend.
“We have been communicating to the foreign based players, I have spoken to Evans Kangwa, Patson Daka and others. They are ready and will join us, they are waiting to fulfil their fixtures this week and by Monday next week we will receive one or two,” he said.
The Chipolopolo boys are currently in Morocco on a 10-day camp that has seen the technical bench carry 22 local players.
Zambia will be away in Nouakchott on September 3, 2021, before hosting Tunisia four days later at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
