Chambeshi Summons 30 Locals ahead of World Cup Qualifiers
Chipolopolo coach Beston Chambeshi has unveiled a 30-member provisional squad comprising local players that will enter residential camp on Friday in Lusaka.
During a media briefing held today at Football House, Chambeshi said the team will have the first camp ahead of the back-to-back FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September.
Chambeshi was flanked by Technical Advisor Aljosa Asanovic who has been engaged based on the Memorandum of Understanding existing between FAZ and the Croatia Football Federation.
The team will be in camp for four days before regrouping for the long haul on August 15 ahead of an international training camp to be held either in Europe or Morocco.
Zambia will be away to Mauritania on September 1, 2021, before hosting Tunisia five days later at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Group B of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
