FAZ/MTN Super League Closes…Relegation Battle Rages On

The curtains come down on the 2020/2021 FAZ/MTN Super League with champions elect Zesco United expected to wrap up with the coronation ceremony at Arthur Davies Stadium this afternoon against continental football hopefuls Buildcon.

At the bottom of the table, the contest will be fiercer with the one of three teams expected to drop into relegation waters at the close of week 34.

The already confirmed Een University National Division One sides are Kitwe United, Lumwana Radiants and Napsa Stars while the prospective candidates are 13-time chmapions Nkana, Indeni and Young Green Eagles.

Nkana who are on 41 points are away to 2021 CAF Confederation Cup group stage participants Napsa Stars at Woodlands Stadium while Indeni are away to continental chasing Kabwe Warriors.

Young Green Eagles will play their final game in Choma where they will host Lusaka Dynamos.

Relegated Lumwana Radiants will host Green Eagles while Prison Leopards face Green Buffaloes at Nkoloma Stadium.

In other fixtures Forest Rangers will play Nkwazi at Nkana Stadium with Zanaco hosting Red Arrows at Sunset Stadium.

At Garden Park, Kitwe United will host Power Dynamos.

All matches will kick-off at 15:00 hours and are being played behind closed doors.
