ROAD TO TOKYO 2020: ESTHER SIAMFUKO: Small Lady with Big Dreams

The 16-year-old rising star is forever calm about her progress. Having skippered the Zambia under-17 national team in 2019 to a bronze medal, Esther has continued to rise in the football hierarchy. Spotted from Choma Secondary School during the schools Coca-Cola championship, Esther was incorporated into the Choma Warriors squad before Queens Academy in Kabwe swooped her.

Her steady rise has earned her a national team call up with Olympic participation looking within grasp. Her international debut was in the 2-1 win over Chile in December 2020 and played her second match against South Africa.
