UEFA Teams Up with FAZ to Hold High Level Training
A team of experts from UEFA is expected in the country today to conduct a Leadership Retreat for FAZ executive committee members and management.
The three-man team of UEFA Assist experts comprises Kenny MacLeod (marketing, communication), Roger Meichtry (technical) and Eva Pasquier (administration).
During their weeklong stay, the UEFA experts will also engage various football stakeholders like club administrators, youth coaches, fans representatives, media, and player representatives, among others.
The newly elected FAZ executive committee members will be a critical component of the training.
FAZ has laid out a rigorous administration upscaling program that has seen FIFA orientation the newly elected executive committee.
Other focus areas during the training will be Leadership and Governance, Player Pathway, Income Generation, Presentation of Findings from Operational Review and Steps of Operational Planning & Creating Goals
The UEFA experts will also be digging into the FAZ 10-year strategic plan.
The main scope of UEFA Assist is to share knowledge and best practices to help UEFA’s sister confederations around the world to develop and strengthen football within their respective territories.
UEFA Assist is designed to provide practical assistance and offer support through development activities.
