Nkana Suffer 2-0 Home Loss to Raja Casablanca
Zambian CAF Confederation Cup envoys Nkana suffered a 2-0 home loss to Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca on the match day two.
Nkana whose home base has shifted to Levy Mwanawasa Stadium for continental games fell behind in the 46th minute through a Soufiane Rahimi penalty after Moses Nyondo bundled the speedy striker.
The Zambian side were deal a devastating blow in the 86th minute when Wail Sadaoui netted the second after breaching the Nkana defence.
Nkana have now lost two matches in a roll in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
In the other match Napsa Stars surrendered a 2-0 lead to visiting JS Kabylie of Algeria to wind up a depressing midweek continental calendar for Zambia.
The Algerians rallied from 2-0 to salvage a draw that left Napsa Stars winless in two group matches.
Napsa Stars and Nkana are the two flag carriers for Zambian in the CAF Confederation Cup.
