Coach Chilufya releases provisional squad for U-17 AFCON

Zambia’s Under-17 men’s National team coach, George Chilufya has named a 41-
provisional squad ahead of the 2021 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations (Afcon).

The tournament to attract 12 teams will run from March 14-31st in Morocco.

Chilufya has retained all but one member of the squad which earned a place to
the continental showpiece during the qualifiers at the 2020 COSAFA men’s U-17
Championship.

Midfielder Joseph Sabobo Banda and Charles Mumba, striker Rickson N’gambi
and defenders Miguel Chaiwa and Teddy Khumalo are some of the notables in
the squad which already began preparations.
